of members and a 150+ year history.

– A network of nearly 2000 lodges in
  communities all over the country.

– A generous charitable foundation that each
year gives millions in scholarships, an
inspiration to youth, a friend to veterans and
  more.

PURPOSE & MEMBERSHIP…

This Fraternal Order was founded “To promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivate good fellowship.”

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT…

Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, meet the needs of today’s veterans, and improve the quality of life.

OUR VOLUNTEER activities

Niles Elks pride themselves on being active in the community — not only through our events but also individually. The organization as a whole is involved in many aspects of life in Niles, Michigan, from supporting youth sports teams, area schools, debate teams, computer competitions but also individual with special needs, veterans and also families in the area in need. We have many opportunities for our members to get involved.

Through fundraising and grants from Grand Lodge, the Niles Elks support the community with activities and events that benefit individuals in need. Our mission is to help people and organizations that need additional support through an organization like ours.
